Friendship is born at that moment when one person says to another: ‘What! You, too? Thought I was the only one.’

Friends of Abbey Way

Friends of Abbey Way are special people. As a person who may be commited to another church home, friends are men and women who believe in Abbey Way’s vision for church community in the Twin Cities. They are people willing to contribute their time, resources, money and/or prayer to help make Abbey Way happen.

Friends of Abbey Way are not only individuals. A Friend is also another faith community or organization who desires to become a partner with us through prayer, sharing of resources and/or financial support. As encouragers and supporters, they keep us actively connected to other people and faith communities within the Body of Christ. They fulfill a vital role in the development of this new community through their presence and prayer.

Friends are also people we choose to partner with. They can be down the street or in another place in the world. As God leads, we desire to follow with our hands wide open.

The development of Friends of Abbey Way is part of our commitment to an ever widening circle of inclusion and networking with others to enliven the life of today’s church. If you are interested in finding out more what being a Friend of Abbey Way is all about, let us know.
