Braving the Wilderness Book Study

Join us for a discussion on Brene Brown's "Braving the Wilderness." Read the first two chapters ("Everywhere and Nowhere" and "The Quest for True Belonging") before our first meeting.

You may jump in anytime.

After the first discussion, our reading pace will be a chapter a week.

Please note we are not gathering the week of Fourth of July.

Come to the main entrance of Silverwood Park's main building. Bring a chair to sit on since we will begin our meeting outside before the coffee shop opens.

Emmaus Walk

Emmaus Walk

Take a reflective walk along the beautiful Mississippi River to dialogue about how God is present to you in the week's scripture. The walk begins at 7 p.m. with hearing the text together. The group will break into twos for a slow walk of conversation and quiet. We will end by 8 p.m.

We will meet at the North Loop playground just south of the Plymouth Bridge. The walk will be towards the city along the West River Parkway. Please RSVP to Pastor Jan by the Monday before the walk date. If it is storming (impending or active storm warning), the walk will be canceled.
